At Creative Childcare Hamilton, our rooms are named after some of history’s great thinkers, because curiosity is at the heart of how we teach. Educators follow each child’s questions and interests, building learning experiences around what genuinely captures their attention that day. A toddler fascinated by puddles might spend the morning exploring water and weather. A preschooler asking “why” for the tenth time might spark a group investigation that runs for a week. This child-led approach, guided by the Early Years Learning Framework, helps children develop not just knowledge but the confidence to keep asking questions, a skill that serves them well long after they leave us for school.

At Creative Childcare Hamilton, each of our learning environments is named after a great scientist or thinker, reflecting the curiosity, discovery and critical thinking we encourage in every child. Just as every child is unique, each room is thoughtfully designed to support children through every stage of their learning and development with age-appropriate experiences that build confidence, independence and a love of learning.
Nightingale Room
6 Weeks – 1 Year
Named for Florence Nightingale's gentle, attentive care, our youngest children begin their journey in a nurturing environment where secure relationships and everyday comfort lay the foundation for future learning.
Darwin Room
1–2 Years
Inspired by Darwin's spirit of discovery, toddlers are encouraged to observe, touch and explore the world around them, building the foundations of curiosity through everyday first experiences.
Einstein Room
2–3 Years
Like Einstein's boundless imagination, children in this room are encouraged to think, question and create, building confidence through hands-on experiences and play.
Nobel Room
3–4 Years
Named for the recognition of great ideas, this room celebrates every child's thinking. Children are encouraged to ask questions, solve problems and share their ideas as they learn.

The educators are absolutely wonderful, always so friendly, approachable, and genuinely happy to chat. You can tell they truly care about the children and create such a supportive, loving environment.
Even while I’m currently on maternity leave, I recently stopped by with my seven-month-old son and was reminded of just how warm and welcoming this place is. The team made me a coffee and took the time to sit and chat, it really feels like a community, not just a daycare.
It gives us so much confidence knowing our children are in such a nurturing space, and we’re so excited for our son to start there soon as well. Highly recommend to any families looking for a caring and supportive daycare.
The communication with families is excellent with detailed daily stories & photos, monthly newsletters & regular updates via the app.
The chef makes healthy & creative lunches & snacks to keep the kids well-fed & exposed to new foods.
I love the way the educators pay attention to children’s’ interests & design group activities/tables with these in mind. I also love the way the centre brings in a variety of expert community partners like Action Kids & their Indigenous Cultural Advisor as well as organising visits from local police, firies & ambos (& their vehicles, which the kids love). Lots of appreciation for this great team! ❤️

It's fair to say, as a centre it's the most like our former Sydney day care out of all we considered.
This is a huge factor, because we found several local day cares to be apparently sub-par by comparison.

Guided by the Early Years Learning Framework, educators follow each child’s interests to build hands-on learning experiences in literacy, numeracy, problem-solving and social skills.
Kids in Galileo (4–6 years) aren’t just learning letters and numbers, they’re practising the things that actually matter on day one of kindergarten: packing their own bag, following a group instruction, sitting through a story, asking for help when they need it.
Low staff turnover means children are cared for by the same familiar educators day to day, which helps them settle in faster and build trusting relationships. Educators work closely with families to understand each child’s routine and individual needs from day one.
Through the OWNA app, you’ll get real updates, not generic templates, what your child ate, how long they napped, a photo from craft time, a note about a new friendship forming. Educators are also right there at pick-up if you want the fuller story.
Our centre uses an open-plan design with half walls throughout for clear visibility, backed by CCTV coverage. All educators are background checked and Safety Geeko trained as part of our commitment to child safety.
